At the meeting of our Audit and Governance Committee earlier this month, it was decided that we will not launch our new PRISM submission system and Register in January.
The testing and validation we have done in recent weeks suggest that the validation codes which are in place to prevent data being submitted incorrectly are not yet working as accurately as we would wish, and we want to be confident that the system is working as it should before we 'go live'.
In the meantime, it is important for you to note that EDI will not be switched off on 20 December and will continue until the new timetable is formalised. Once the new launch date is confirmed there will be a ‘soft’ launch to allow centres time to catch up on any backlog of forms.
We appreciate you may have put plans in place around the previous go live date and want to apologise for any inconvenience this causes.
