In the recent Special Edition Clinic Focus we updated on planning for a no deal scenario on 12 April. An extension to Article 50 has been granted until 31 October 2019 with the option to bring this forward if a deal is ratified earlier.
Until then please continue the work you are undertaking to prepare your organisation for leaving the EU without a deal and do not wind-down your contingency plans at this stage.
The Department of Health and Social Care will continue to work on its no deal plans and has asked all other organisations in the health and care system to continue their plans. You can read further details in this letter.
