We have been working to improve the way that we handle applications for embryo research projects and will soon be introducing new application forms and an improved peer review process.
In the next phase of our work, we want to explore what we can do to help more patients take part in embryo research if they want to. We’re looking at:
- What information patients want and need
- Whether the consent requirements are working
- Whether we can help to increase the availability of embryos for research
