HFEA Choose a Fertility Clinic (CaFC) – full update
I am writing further to my previous letter on 14 November 2025 and updates in the June, July, August, September, and November editions of Clinic Focus regarding the update to Choose a Fertility Clinic (CaFC).
I am pleased to announce that the update is now complete and full data on treatments, pregnancies, and births from January 2022 to December 2024 is now on CaFC.
I want to thank everyone who has worked hard to submit and verify their data, which will help patients and the wider public.
The vast majority of clinics have now updated their CaFC data. For the small number of clinics that did not meet the full CaFC publication deadline, no data will be shown on the main profile page, old data will be removed, and there will be an explanation for why there is no data for that clinic. Once the appropriate data has been received and verified, it will be displayed on CaFC.
As stated in guidance note 4.10 of the Code of Practice, all clinic success rate data should refer to the HFEA as the source of national information through its Choose a Fertility Clinic tool. It should include a link to the HFEA’s advice on choosing a clinic: Choose a fertility clinic.
